In some cases, Match clients may be able to collect an indicator that the subject has been previously affiliated with the institution, along with a human readable comment in which the subject (or the subject's sponsor) describes the former affiliation. While this information may not be suitable for automatic matching, it might (1) turn "no match" (201 or 404) into a "potential match" (202 or 300) requiring human review, (2) during which the comment might provide context for the Reconciliation Manager.
